This sounds suspiciously like a d-a-t-e, something Lois specifically said they weren’t going to do. However, she also told him that she would hang out with him as friends. She supposes this could be considered non-romantic.
"Oh man! So that's a hard question to answer, it's all over the place. In essence it's a haunted house movie but so much more!" He says, his eyes excited.
Lois contemplates for a moment, rubbing her thumb on the rim on her coffee mug. Richard seems so excited, and he probably doesn’t have anyone else to go with.
